Visitors & Accessibility

One Pound Lane is home to a unique collection of heritage experiences including The Pound Bar & Kitchen, The Westgate Towers Museum & Viewpoint, The Guard Chamber Event Space and Escape In The Towers Escape Room Experiences.

Access to many of these experiences is unfortunately restricted due to the nature of the heritage building with multiple flights of stairs and narrow doorways within the Scheduled Ancient Monument and Listed Building. The Pound Bar & Kitchen is fully accessible but unfortunately the other areas within the building are not. Please email us should you have any questions about accessibility.

Admittance Policy & Age Restrictions

There is no last entry time at The Pound Bar & Kitchen. You may arrive half an hour before closing time.

Our door supervisors operate to a strict admittance policy and we operate the Challenge 25 scheme, please ensure you have photo identification with you at all times to assure access to the building, even if you are only dining with us.

There is no dress code at The Pound. People should wear what they feel comfortable in to enjoy their time with us in a relaxed and informal setting.

Children of any age (accompanied by an adult) are welcome at One Pound Lane until the restaurant closes at 9.30pm at which time we kindly ask that all customers are 18 or over. Escape room players must be 12 or above and if 12-16 accompanied by an adult.
