  • One Pound Lane is home to a unique collection of heritage experiences including The Pound Bar & Restaurant, Westgate Towers Museum & Viewpoint and Escape In The Towers Escape Room Experiences.

Access to many of these experiences is unfortunately restricted due to the nature of the heritage building with multiple flights of stairs and narrow doorways within the Scheduled Monument and Listed Building. The Pound Bar & Restaurant is fully accessible but unfortunately the other areas within the building are not. Please email us should you have any questions about accessibility.

  • Please note that we now only accept card payment.

Our door supervisors operate to a strict admittance policy and we operate the Challenge 25 scheme, please ensure you have photo identification with you at all times to assure access to the building.

There is no dress code at The Pound. Customers should wear what they feel comfortable in to enjoy their time with us in a relaxed and informal setting.

Children of any age (accompanied by an adult) are welcome at One Pound Lane until the restaurant closes at 9.30pm at which time we kindly ask that all customers are 18 or over. Escape room players must be 10 or above and if 10-16 accompanied by an adult.

Dogs are welcome on the riverside terrace but unfortunately not inside the building.

We're committed to being good neighbours and helping to enhance the vibrant and historic St Dunstan’s and St Peter's area of the city. If you have any concerns, ideas or comments please email or phone us to discuss, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
